Position Overview

The Channel Partner Program Manager is responsible for maximizing relationships with Resellers and Outsourcing Partners consisting primarily of EMR vendors, care management service providers, population health / care management platforms and data analytics firms.

 

The Channel Partner Program Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development and will be primarily responsible for minimizing channel conflict and maximizing partner success, both critical in helping to grow and protect revenue.  

Specifically:

  • Research Studio organizations to develop prospecting lists
  • Network within existing partners to expand our visibility and identify new opportunities
  • Studio lead generation and qualification
  •  Create Studio leads through proactive outreach (e-mail and phone) to achieve monthly sales goals
  • Respond to incoming Studio leads and information requests
  • Respond to incoming Partner leads and information requests
  • Work collaboratively with VP Business Development to follow up on leads, provide follow up materials as needed
  • Support the VP Business Development to ensure prospective Studio projects and partnerships are moving through the pipeline
  • Prepare and perform online presentations to engage Studio prospects, develop relationships and provide valuable information to the market
  • Drafting and delivering Studio proposals
  • Assemble best practices and provide workflow consulting to partners
  • Work with partners to identify success metrics and identify research opportunities to measure the impact of our solutions
  • Train the partners’ sales, marketing and account management staff
  • Create an account plan for each partner
  • Work with the Emmi Marketing team in the development of innovative campaigns to support partner success
  • Provide Partner sales support either directly or by pulling in the appropriate Territory Manager or subject matter expert
  • Conduct ongoing pipeline reviews with each partner and provide sales support directly or by pulling in the appropriate subject matter expert
  • Proactively coordinate with the Emmi Sales and Account Management teams to minimize channel conflict

 

Qualifications:

  1. Candidate should have a genuine passion for patient engagement technologies and solutions
  2. Ability to build trusted relationships with senior level healthcare executives
  3. Understanding of the healthcare landscape, including:
    • How various payment reforms are impacting the patient engagement market (bundled payments, ACOs, readmission penalties)
    • How patient engagement is incorporated into the redesign of the delivery system (patient centered medical home, population health management, care transitions)
    • How the ecosystem of technology solutions will facilitate patient engagement in the future (patient decision aids, EMRs, predictive modeling, telemedicine, mobile devices, patient self-management tools)

 

Experience/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree, preferred
  • Track record of managing complex relationships and projects
  • Exceptional enthusiasm, interpersonal skills and communication abilities
  • Experience/proficiency with Microsoft products: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
