Business Development Executive

PRIMARY ROLE: The Business Development Executive is an integral part of our sales success. A successful candidate will exceed lead generation expectations and serve as a link between marketing efforts and outside sales closes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for generating, qualifying and nurturing customer leads into qualified opportunities to build up the sales pipeline
- Place daily outbound phone calls, emails, and social network messages to set up customer appointments
- Follow-up on targeted outbound marketing campaigns to pre-qualify sales opportunities and schedule meetings for sales representatives
- Work with regional sales reps to conduct territory analysis and prioritize sales opportunities
- Conduct the research required to understand prospect’s business, technology and product requirements and develop a compelling value proposition.
- Track all business development activity in the company CRM allowing for a smooth handoff to sales
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent
- Minimum of 5-8 years of sales or marketing experience
- Proven track record of lead generation conversions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with a CRM and other lead generation tools
