Business Development Manager
Shotfarm is well on its way to solving a $5B retail industry problem by centralizing the exchange of product content (images, videos, descriptions, and specifications) between retailers and manufacturers – think LinkedIn or AngelList. Since its public release in 2010, company adoption of the platform has topped 7,300 and continues to double each year. We are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers.
You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, and connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Passionately drive customer acquisition (grow the Network!!) through proactive prospecting, qualifying, and educating prospects & customers on the value of the Shotfarm Product Content Network and associated premium services.
- Build deep customer relationships from the minute members join the network through guiding the sale of premium functionality.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
- Prepare and deliver demos of the Shotfarm platform
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of sales / account management or other relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
