Shotfarm is well on its way to solving a $5B retail industry problem by centralizing the exchange of product content (images, videos, descriptions, and specifications) between retailers and manufacturers – think LinkedIn or AngelList.  Since its public release in 2010, company adoption of the platform has topped 7,300 and continues to double each year.  We are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers.

You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, and connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Passionately drive customer acquisition (grow the Network!!) through proactive prospecting, qualifying, and educating prospects & customers on the value of the Shotfarm Product Content Network and associated premium services.
  • Build deep customer relationships from the minute members join the network through guiding the sale of premium functionality.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • Prepare and deliver demos of the Shotfarm platform
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of sales / account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
