Devbridge Group welcomes a Business Development Manger, accountable for achieving pipeline, sales, and business development efficiency results by identifying and engaging on strategic opportunities, developing new clients, and driving new capabilities around Devbridge Group (DBG) strategic initiatives. The role holder is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of DBD offerings and services, and develop and maintain relationships to benefit client and DBG. The role includes an individual sales contributor target comprising pipeline qualification and sales achievement. The role will sell across two key business verticals – financial services or manufacturing.   

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate and engage directly in market-facing activities (e.g., trade associations, boards, conferences and other client-facing activities)
  • Assume a leadership role for Stage 0 deals including New Business Meeting presentation and material creation
  • Personally develops and sustains DBG and customers relationships through personal meetings, presentations, business networking and/or other business or social gatherings
  • Identifies and qualifies specific sales opportunities and effectively transitions the opportunities to capture teams 
  • Understand and stay current with technology trends and new solutions in the market
  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses of different technology solutions; effectively articulate DBG solution offerings and capabilities
  • Focus is on originating profitable deals that can be successfully closed and delivered as sold
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 3+ years’ experience in one of the following: Information Technology solutions, services; Consulting Services
  • Understanding of software technologies
  • Experience selling in competitive markets and assessing multiple solutions and system integrators
  • Experience creating and presenting executive level briefings and sales data analysis
  • Experience managing opportunity pipelines
Professional Skill Requirements:
  • Very strong facilitation and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character
  • Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing new products or services for a large business entity
  • Strong ownership, problem solving, and decision making abilities
  • Ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives
