About Us. CartoFront is a well-financed, early stage software as a service company. Our primary product is an online software that allows users to turn big data into small, actionable data. We use mapping technology to give our clients an interactive and simple picture of property and community information. This disruptive technology also helps to support site selection and real estate searches by marrying public and private data to provide a complete picture.

 

Summary. This is a full-time staff position with access to benefits and a competitive salary plus monthly metrics based bonuses. In this role, you will take ownership of the business development process. This includes sourcing new leads or updating existing leads (via CRM), contacting leads to schedule demos on behalf of other sales staff, and emailing leads pre & post demo using self-designed contact templates. Creative, energetic, “map geeks” strongly encouraged to apply!


Responsibilities. This position shall incorporate three primary areas of responsibility: client relationship management, business development, and tracking sales metrics.

  1. Maintain accurate client detail in CRM
  2. Use CRM to create daily call lists
  3. Update CRM with lead/client status relative to sales process
  4. Contact leads to promote CartoFront
  5. Schedule demos on behalf of Sales Manager(s)
  6. Use Google Calendar
  7. Follow pre-demo and post-demo client contact protocol
  8. Track monthly metrics on sales process success (i.e calls, conversions, tactics)
  9. Support sales team in meeting monthly sales metrics


Skills & Qualifications. We believe that to be successful in this position you should have a combination of interpersonal and organizational skills. You likely enjoy speaking with new people and know how to convey a sense of excitement about our product. It is not necessary to have any formal technical background, but you should be excited to learn! Most importantly you know how to manage details and feel comfortable taking ownership of the lead generation process.
