Business Development Specialist
As a Business Development Specialist (BDS) you will play a critical role in the explosive growth of Mediafly by identifying new sales opportunities and scheduling qualified sales meetings for Mediafly’s Sales Directors. You will also be given the opportunity to manage mid-market sales cycles from lead generation to close. This role currently reports to the VP of Marketing, and your responsibilities will include:
- Cold calling into target accounts to gather names, qualify leads and execute outbound lead generation tactics/campaigns
- Ownership of lead generation activities, including email, cold call, InMail, etc.
- Delivering solutions demos over the phone to prospects
- Independently managing your own sales cycles for inbound/mid-market opportunities
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with outbound prospecting
- Glass half full mentality
- Passionate to exceed expectations
- Excellent listening, writing and communication skills
- Strong technical acumen and commercial temperament
- Travel Requirement: Less than 5%
