Description:

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing project requests across Performics departments and teams, evaluating project needs as viable and scalable solutions, and strategizing initiatives for Performics’ business needs. The Business Operations Manager will continually explore and evaluate business technology solutions to solve for any process, technology, or collaborative gaps that may arise within the business.

Responsibilities:

Business Operations Support:

    • Collaborate with and support the Business Operations team for daily tasks and ongoing projects
    • Continually strive to enhance Business Operations procedures and workflow for seamless execution with company-wide projects
    • Align with researching best methodologies (process and technology) for projects
    • Proactively connect with departments to understand needs, provide solutions, and build strong relationships across Performics
    • Able to prioritize projects to meet requests with an “under-promise and over-deliver” on-time fashion
    • Onboard, mentor, coach, and manage the Business Operations Coordinator and junior level team members (as applicable)
    • Delegate and communicate tasks and projects effectively for seamless and quick turnarounds
    • Create and manage training sessions and workshops for business core technologies; creating effective training materials for wide audience groups
    • Understand business, client, and vendor needs to identify opportunities, recommendations, and lead implementation of process optimizations
    • Develop and maintain any relevant vendor relationships; continually explore and be well-rehearsed on vendor technology and features
    • Communicate effectively with team on meaningful insights on Business Operations departmental, project, or company feedback, analysis, and redesign
    • Manage Business Operations newsletter and communication to Performics offices
    • Research and understand the digital media industry and how Business Operations team can evolve and assist Performics teams accordingly

Platforms & Applications:

  • Core Technologies: Salesforce, SharePoint, and Box
      • Serve as administrator of the Performics Salesforce.com, SharePoint, and Box environments for Performics users: includes managing users, profiles, permission sets and troubleshooting user issues as they arise
      • Develop and maintain core technologies’ custom workflows to support business processes
      • Document current system configurations and processes while developing core technologies best practices, recommendations, and training documentation
      • Scope, design, develop, and test new modules and functionality, as needed
      • QA all processes and documentation with Business Operations team and project stakeholder
  • New Technologies
      • Serve as administrator of Publicis/Performics initiated technology roll-outs
      • Lead and/or assist teams in any roll-out procedures, as needed—change management, communication, training, etc.
      • Build and exhaust all scenarios for technology use cases for Performics business needs
      • Ensure testing and processes are documented and executed seamlessly
      • Research, attend/participate in industry events and any emerging technologies sessions
      • Develop and maintain any relevant vendor relationships; continually explore and be well-rehearsed on vendor technology and features

Project Management:

    • Understand larger landscape of a business process and how small tasks affect “big picture” objectives
    • Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders for flawless execution
    • Develop detailed project plans with clear objectives and project scope to align with relevant stakeholders
    • Set realistic deadlines and manage expectations for on-time delivery (within scope)
    • Communicate clearly to stakeholders on project expectations and action items
    • Translate questions and requests to effective conversation to define actionable objectives/tasks
    • Able to influence project stakeholders for best project outcome/solution and timely project/task completion
    • Strive with unbiased and objective demeanor to address and resolve any conflicts/issues with project needs
    • Execute meetings with precision and identifying/addressing the objective
    • Document detailed meeting notes, business cases, project workflow, etc.
    • Create, update, and execute testing scenarios for all initiatives, projects, and tasks to ensure seamless integration
    • Manage and guide the Business Operations Coordinator on project workflows

Attitude & Skills:

    • 2+ years of project management experience
    • 2+ years with working with technology/platform support
    • 1+ year(s) with process related experience
    • Self-starter that is able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
    • Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
    • Initiative and eagerness to grasp and use new concepts, technologies, and processes
    • Proactive in troubleshooting and researching question
    • Excellent attention to details, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skill
    • Strong analytical and creative thought process desired
