Akuna is seeking a highly organized and energetic Campus and Employee Engagement Specialist to take ownership of our campus recruitment and company events, social media campaigns and employee engagement initiatives across the firm. This position acts as an extension of the Recruitment Team and will also participate in direct Recruiting and Human Resources initiatives outside of events. You will be given the opportunity to continue to grow and innovate our campus and employee engagement program and make your own impact on the firm. What you’ll do as a Campus and Employee Engagement Specialist at Akuna:

• Create, plan and execute company and campus events for appropriate target audiences while adhering to an annual budget and timelines
• Research and develop campus engagement strategies targeting key student groups and university programs
• Work with the Recruitment Team to identify goals for campus events and make data driven decisions
• Create and cultivate employee engagement initiatives including our wellness program, social events, and our annual company trip
• Travel and represent Team Akuna at events and career fairs, as needed
• Own our social media program, stay on top of emerging platform trends and generate new ideas for outreach

Qualities that make great candidates:

• 1+ years of event planning, marketing, campus recruiting or relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Outstanding organizational skills, close attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are must-haves
• Social media platform and strategy experience
• Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions
• Can work independently while also being a team player with a can-do attitude
• Flexibility to deal with last minute changes, the ability to remain calm under pressure and comfortable working with minimal direction
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
