We are looking for a Carrier Services Lead to ensure that Truckload (TL) and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) capacity providers (carriers) build out a suite of APIs that project44 can connect to in order to maximize value to its shipper and 3PL customers. As Carrier Services Lead, you will be responsible for leveraging existing relationships and building new ones, to meet with and influence executive technology, sales, and operations leadership at a variety of carriers.

Key Accountabilities:

• Educate and partner with executive leadership (business and technical) at LTL and TL capacity providers to build and improve APIs needed to maximize value to project44 customers
• Follow-through with capacity providers to ensure that technical and business deadlines are met and clearly communicated
• Liaise with Product Management and project44 customers to determine strategic capabilities needed to maximize value of API connectivity
• Liaise with customer support to understand which carrier API updates would be most valuable
• Develop and present Health Checks to carriers to help them understand current strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
• Work with senior leadership to create and maintain and overall priority of time allocation that best drives our strategic goals across modes and product offerings via our capacity provider partners

Requirements & Preferred Skills

• Deep relationships with C-suite of multiple LTL and TL carriers
• Ability to influence key decision makers to make technology decision
• Deep understanding of the North American freight marketplace, especially in the LTL and TL space
• Preference to have a solid understanding of additional North American freight modes (Small Parcel, Rail/Intermodal, Expedited, etc.)
• Preference to have solid understanding of International freight modes 
• Understanding of transactional freight details that are passed via API or EDI
• Ability to work as a trusted adviser to carriers
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills, people skills, and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail
