Channel Marketing Manager
This exciting new position will be supporting businesses development initiatives as well as our new value-added resellers program.
This role is responsible for the channel marketing strategy of specific partners and will develop and implement marketing programs in support of customer acquisition, revenue growth and retention. The Channel Marketing Manager is a lead member of the marketing team and works to build awareness and drive demand to, and within, channel partners. They support the partner and Business Development team with marketing programs, both internally and externally, to assist in meeting the annual Channel sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Messaging & value proposition development. Work with internal stakeholders and partners to identify program benefits, customer value and use cases, ensuring collateral and web pages properly speak to Sprout’s as well as the program’s value.
- Provide air cover and generate demand, providing expertise, resources and energy to fill our sales funnel and drive demand.
- Develop and lead education and enablement sessions to demonstrate the value of the partnerships and how to communicate our programs to others, both internally and externally.
- Implement strategic marketing strategies for our VAR program, generating plans and campaigns creating awareness within industry and marketplace
- Share market and customer research with internal partners, maintaining and communicating a thorough understanding of the industry
- Work with customer success teams to drive adoption for partner solutions, and broadcast the success through use cases and content
- Work and collaborate with partners to build and execute co-marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Experience in developing strategic marketing plans, particularly marketing collateral and demand generation activities including webinars and lead generation
- Ability to understand another company’s business as well as our own to clearly articulate how each complements the other
- Experience working within an agency that is/was part of a SaaS channel model is highly desired
- Strong people skills: ability to lead with confidence and professionalism when interfacing with multiple levels of management, partners and customers
- Analytical and able to interpret data into meaningful marketing actions
- Willingness to be strategic and tactical
- Strong accountability for generating measurable results
- Self-starter who thrives in a creative, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Experience in social media is a plus
