The Client Services Associate is responsible for assisting with the successful execution of SoMe client projects as part of the larger account team. Associates help with specific tasks on a daily basis required to complete the entire project lifecycle and execution of deliverables while maintaining the SoMe standard of quality.


The position requires a candidate who is goal oriented, possesses exceptional attention to detail,  has outstanding communication skills, and wants to jump in wherever possible to contribute to the overall growth of the company.  It will also require the candidate to manage some resources across various service lines while also helping to manage timelines and project budgets. Another key aspect of this role is to work closely with the Client Services Manager to build client relationships and maintain their project and deliverable satisfaction.  


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:


  • Understand the business goals and needs of the client and in scope digital activities that align with these goals and how to execute on these activities to work towards the business goals.

  • Work across multiple client accounts simultaneously and manage time accordingly.

  • Assists the Client Services Manager to communicate strategy, complex technical jargon and results to clients, helping them understand the vision and work of the team.

  • Utilize analytical skills to review results provided across digital channels.

  • Experience creating effective reporting and anticipating client questions on results.

  • Ability to learn to leverage client relationships to expand the scope of work and assist the sales team with account growth.

  • Understands digital offerings to a point where he/she can work with the SoMe team to create highly effective digital marketing solutions for clients.

  • Manage various resource types, coordinating different contractor schedules and aligning them with the project timeline.

  • Review deliverables from the team and assure that all materials are of high quality.

  • Ability to make tough decisions with minimal guidance, ask strategic questions and give/receive constructive feedback regularly to team at all levels in a respectful manor.

  • Aspires to grow in the account team to be able to mentor, inspire, and train SoMe junior team members to do their best work and learn more about digital and client services.

  • Keep on top of trends and news related to SoMe service line offerings.

  • Identify gaps in SoMe systems and processes, contributing to the growth of the internal infrastructure.

  • Research and reach out to specialists/contractors to offer clients informed solutions.




REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, independently and identify and resolve problems.

  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, ownership and self-motivation.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.

  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience using Microsoft Project, Basecamp and Google Business apps (including Drive and Analytics) is a plus.

  • Extremely effective communicator and presenter using articulate thoughts and points both verbally and written.

  • High level of professionalism for a wide range of clients i.e. solo business owners to multiple stakeholders within corporations.

  • Gets excited at the prospect of helping to build a company and ways to provide support based on your interests and skill set.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Associates will have no direct supervisory responsibilities but will be expected to manage lateral and contractor resources for completion of specific tasks  


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • BS/BA degree required

  • 1+ experience in agency client facing role


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Light travel may be required to client sites and to SoMe’s Atlanta location.
