We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our quickly growing technology team. Central to our model and overall organizational success, we develop capabilities to aggregate disparate datasets and create products and solutions to drive business decisions, enable the execution of business strategies, and measure business and clinical outcomes.  While this role will be dynamic in nature, specific responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer will include:

  • Accountability for managing our cloud infrastructure in a security-first fashion
  • Provide expertise and influence in the development of network and server infrastructure and support in operating our enterprise data architecture
  • Participate in the development of internal software products
  • Embody and exemplify our “devops” culture

Background and Educational Requirements 

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Enterprise Systems administration (UNIX/Linux and/or Windows Server)
  • Experience in at least 1 language / scripting framework (Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.) and desire to pick up another language
  • Experience in a multi-cloud infrastructure environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in Cloud Networking (DNS, IPsec, Security Groups, VPN, Load Balancing)
  • Experience designing cloud credential management solutions (IAM Roles, Azure RBAC )
  • Experience with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP, Okta, OneLogin, etc.)
  • Experience with a configuration management framework (Chef, Ansible, Puppet etc.)
  • Experience managing and operating a logging infrastructure (ELK stack preferred)
  • Experience implementing an Infrastructure cloud monitoring and alerting using native cloud provider offerings or third parties such as Datadog, Pingdom, or PagerDuty
  • Experience with SIEM tools such as ArcSight or Splunk is preferred
  • Proficiency in orchestrating and managing data platforms is strongly preferred (Mesos, Zookeeper, Spark, Presto, etc.)
  • Exposure to a containers and container orchestrations is a plus
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
