What we are looking for in this exciting opportunity?
We are seeking a talented analytics business expert to architect and manage multiple analytically driven business solutions for partners within Discover Network. While a background on predictive modelling is needed, a key aspect of their activity will to understand and translate our business partners’ questions into an analytical framework for data driven solutions.
Analytics knowledge is essential! The ability to work with multiple partners and vendors will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help build processes and framework for solving business problems.
• Oversee the continued development of the analytic capabilities within the Network, identify opportunities to improve the processes and streamline activities.
• Communicate findings to business partner.
• Develop high level monthly reporting for upper management that encompasses current activities.
• Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and practices.
Skills
• Master Degree in a quantitative discipline
• 2 years of work experience in analytics and/or consulting
• Hands-on experience in SAS and SQL
• Experience working in Data mining and modeling teams
• Experience conceptualizing and building creative analytic solutions to complex problem
• Experience presenting complex analytic processes to a non-analytical audience
• Must have the ability to deliver executive presentations
• Ability to think analytically and translate business problems into analytical processes and glean actionable business insights from the output of analytical process
• Ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with limited guidance
