The Content Associate is responsible for writing copy on various platforms, including blogs, emails and social media. This position functions as a staff writer and will produce eight to 10 pieces a week.  The right candidate will be a skilled communicator who can adapt to writing in the Cappex voice. The Content Associate is part of the Cappex Content Team and reports to the Content Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Write eight to 10 posts a week for Cappex and our sister website, College Greenlight
• Assist in providing copy for social media
• Produce videos for use on Cappex and social media
• Generate majority of story ideas and keep the editorial calendar updated

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or a related field
• Minimum one to two years relevant professional experience
• Strong writing skills and careful attention to detail
• Understanding of AP Style and grammar

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with WordPress and Google Analytics
• Ability to produce short videos with iMovie or stock video services
