About the Opportunity:
The Content Manager is responsible for communicating GrubHub’s brand, vision and news to diners and restaurants through content that aligns with and enhances our overall strategic plan. He/She is a polished and strategic writer and editor who can create content that generates leads, increases brand awareness, and improves customer loyalty. This person will build relationships and continually find new ways to maximize the brand through content and other marketing initiatives.
Some Challenges You’ll Tackle:
- Oversee the development of all GrubHub and Seamless content, scheduling, strategy, analytics, performance and engagement
- Manage content from throughout the organization to help ensure it reflects the organization in terms of tone, style and grammar
- Work with teams to source, write and edit content that drives user engagement and has meaningful and compelling consumer appeal
- Create the coolest social and digital content within the food media landscape
- Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts our target audience and keeps them coming back
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, content performance metrics and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar
- Establish and report on key metrics including impact on lead generation, number of total impressions, search rankings, website page views, media coverage, etc
- 5+ years of journalism, writing and/or editing experience – and 3+ years of content marketing experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Public Relations or related communications field
- Stellar writing, editing and proofreading skills – writing samples required
- A creative reel and live link to share your work
- knowledge of AVID suite programs, Final Cut Pro
- Knowledge of AP style
- Strong project management skills, with proven track record in overseeing content projects and multiple priorities to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of corporate content marketing and SEO best practices
