Build a career at the intersection of education and technology innovation.

Everspring was founded in 2011 to unite the transformational power of next-generation learning and the academic strength of traditional universities. We partner with leading universities to help them define an online strategy and provide the full range of customized services needed to bring that strategy to life.

Our people make the difference. We are building a diverse team of problem solvers who are inspired by next-generation technology-assisted  learning, and who thrive in a fast-paced results-oriented environment. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting new company in a dynamic and growing industry, and to shape our culture and success. The ideal employee meets challenges head-on, enjoys taking responsibility and acquiring new skills, and finds meaning and purpose in moving students, faculty and universities forward.

Together we will design and deliver the future of education online.

The Content Marketing Manager will build and execute a content and publishing plan that drives traffic and qualified leads for online degree programs with Everspring’s University partners.  This high-energy, hands-on marketer will be responsible for content strategy, content generation and publishing, social media listening and community management, and “internal” marketing within University partner channels. The Content Marketing Manager is a cross between a direct marketer and a publisher, blending a creative approach to storytelling across mediums with a strong analytical skill set to assess what’s driving results and respond rapidly.  And in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, we’re looking for smart, high-energy candidates who are looking to make a big impact working alongside a great team.

The Content Marketing Manager reports to the Executive Director of Marketing and is directly accountable for engagement, traffic and leads generated through SEO, social and branded channels.

Responsibilities:

-Build a multi-channel content strategy incorporating insight on target audiences, professional markets, brand strategy and competitive factors
-Create and manage a content calendar across multiple University partners
-Produce and publish content across channels and formats (words, pictures, videos), partnering with an internal designer, internal writer, and subject matter experts within our University partners
-Curate third-party content as appropriate to further content marketing objectives
-Manage day-to-day social listening through Radian6
-Manage proprietary social properties and online communities (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instragram) created on behalf of our University partners
-Work with stakeholders within our University partners (communications, marketing, alumni relations, academic programs, etc.) to build and execute internal marketing initiatives that drive referral and engagement for online programs
-Provide reporting and analysis on content marketing initiatives resulting in strategies for optimization and performance improvement
-Stay up to date on new trends, technologies and approaches – in our professional end markets and in content marketing.  Share your insights with the broader team.  And even better, create new trends, ideas and approaches that other companies want to emulate.
-Exhibit strong project management skills, managing the media plan with adherence to timeline, budget, performance goals and client commitments.

 Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, marketing or a related field.
-4+ years of experience in digital publishing or marketing – preferably for a digitally-driven brand
-Experience creating compelling messages for different target audiences, across multiple channels, leveraging multiple formats
-Experience building content that targets all stages of the marketing funnel
-Strong knowledge of search engine optimization, social media and digital marketing tactics
-Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and generate actionable strategies for performance improvement
-Experience working collaboratively with designers, writers and content experts
-Education industry experience preferred
