Content Marketing Manager
Job Description:
BenchPrep is looking to hire a B2B Content Marketing Manager that has exceptional writing skills to lead content creation efforts at the organization. Reporting into the Director of Marketing, the Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for writing and producing short and long form content regularly to expand BenchPrep’s footprint, awareness, and leads.
The Content Marketing Manager will be joining a lean B2B marketing team and will be asked to wear several different writing hats. You should be very comfortable working not only with the Director of Marketing, but also with Customer Success, Product, Sales, and the Executive Team. You LOVE to write and enjoy having the opportunity to create varied content. You will be playing an integral part in developing the marketing content roadmap, ensuring it aligns with organizational direction and objectives, and then executing that vision.
This role is fast-paced and requires creativity, attention to detail, resourcefulness, juggling multiple projects simultaneously, and scrappiness.
Responsibilities:
Create multiple deliverables each month to help drive leads, subscribers, and awareness, (examples include blog posts, email campaigns, case studies, infographics, product videos, press releases, etc.).
Start the company blog and build the audience from the ground up. Blogging on an ongoing basis to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
Increase BenchPrep content presence and sales enablement by delivering content that’s aligned with needs and interests of prospects while leading back to company value prop directly or indirectly.
Collaborate with Director of Marketing, Design, Customer Success, Sales and other departments to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Content Marketing that includes proven ability to own B2B projects
- Exceptional writing background, various samples will be required
- Tech experience strongly preferred
- Roll-up sleeves mentality
- Understands and effectively operates within environment of a high-growth technology company
