Participates in the implementation of all Continuous Improvement projects. Works alongside all departments to identify continuous improvement opportunities while playing a key role on the day to day workload planning on the floor.
Detailed Responsibilities:- Implement new processes or process changes by training associates and obtaining proper feedback for best results. Work with department managers or supervisors to create a plan to sustain
- Coach and motivate associates when processes are not being correctly followed per SOP instructions. Escalate severe occurrences to department managers or supervisors when applicable
- Understand and hold all departments accountable for any standard key performance indicators to maximize daily output by comparing budget to expected output
- Troubleshoot any process related issues by identifying root cause and performing thorough investigations to identify any process gaps
- Perform time studies and data analysis to obtain quantifiable information for process improvements and process implementations
- Work directly with CI Manager to manage approved Continuous Improvement projects by partnering with department managers to gather the correct amount of resources to accomplish the task at hand
- Partner with all departments to assist with day to day planning by using planning tools and staffing models
- Partner with HR weekly to obtain the correct amount of temporary associates needed per the weekly budget and schedule
- Ability to create and finalize standard operating procedures and best practices for all departments within the facility
- Hold all departments accountable for all implemented Best Practices and SOP’s by performing audits while identifying other areas of improvement by compiling quantifiable data

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience working in a Continuous Improvement role or a production environment preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint
- Ability to track details and process improvements and to keep track of projects
- Interpersonal skills to work with team members in both production and corporate environments
