Inventables is building its reputation as the leading provider of 3D carving tools used to design and manufacture a product. We’re looking for a detail-oriented person to help build our accounting and finance departments. You are currently an ambitious Accounting Manager looking for the next step in your career. It will be your job as Controller to manage the month end close, inventory management, payroll processing, sales tax filing, monthly reporting and annual budgeting. You will report directly to the CEO and be a key member of the management team.

We are a venture-backed startup company focused on growth. You will work closely with each department crafting and reviewing budgets and growth plans.
You will be responsible for:
- Month and year end close out
- Preparing and presenting financial information to the CEO
- Working directly with our CEO on financial scenario planning
- Working with each department head on our financial forecast and annual budget
- Leading our physical inventory and cycle counting process
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong finance or accounting background. You will need to work in a digital accounting system (we use Quickbooks and will be moving to an ERP solution) and be comfortable with accounting concepts and reporting.
Your background must include:
- Experience managing a physical inventory
- 4 year degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred
- At least 3 years experience in public accounting
- Experience with GAAP accounting
- Experience with Quickbooks
