Legacy.com is a market leader, looking to expand our Marketing Team. As a copywriter you will be responsible for creating well-crafted, compelling, and on-brand copy for a wide range of projects and initiatives across the department and company. Writing assignments include copy for print, digital, and online media in both short- and long-form. The ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail.

 

Responsibilities


  • Report and write emails, articles, features and interactive content that grows the Legacy brand
  • Revamp existing online copy presence where needed
  • Develop targeted phrases to be used in ads, captions, emails, social media post, marketing materials and website copy
  • Invested in writing to create action in others
  • Help drive ecommerce by using content strategically and make recommendations about possible enhancements as necessary
  • Develop and maintain copy guidelines for use across company
  • Focus on using copy to help grow new and existing direct revenue
  • Other duties as assigned
  •  

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Critical and/or soft skills regularly used
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across and work with all levels of the organization
    • Highly creative and imaginative
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Interest in new advertising trends and techniques
    • Strong fact-checking and proofing skills, with an inherent attention to detail
    • Ability to manage a high-speed, high-volume workload in a quickly evolving business environment
    • Non-profit experience is a plus
