The Mx Group is looking for a versatile corporate communications / public relations manager to take our company’s presence to the next level. We’re a digital and demand creation agency that offers a full suite of in-house marketing services, from app and web development to lead generation, persona creation, and design and content marketing — and we’re looking for someone who’s ready and eager to spread our story far and wide.

You’ll play a key role in our company’s messaging strategy, telling the story of how marketing automation is changing the B2B marketing landscape. Your toolbox will go well beyond press releases to include media placements, thought leadership, social media and much more. And you’ll work to engage key influencers and channels to spread the Mx message. This is an exciting opportunity for a PR and media maven to play an instrumental role in marketing’s digital transformation.

What we’re looking for:

• 3–5 years of experience in a B2B public relations or media relations role
• Strong core PR skill set (media relations, press release writing and distribution, spokesperson training, etc.)
• Professional social media experience
• Exceptional written communicator, with experience writing blog posts, articles, etc.
• Strategic, proactive decision-making and a desire to think outside the box
• Prior experience promoting marketing automation or technology is a big plus
• Experience using social listening technology a plus
• Experience developing and placing thought leadership content a plus
