Customer Experience Associate
Interior Define is looking for a new team member interested in creating a great end-to-end customer experience. We are looking for someone that is passionate about transforming the e-commerce and retail industries and who is excited to use technology as the catalyst for change. We are a data-driven team looking for a new Customer Experience team member eager to facilitate and outstanding customer journey. We are a fast-growing, Chicago-based start-up reinventing the way people shop for custom furniture (beginning with sofas). We are seeking a talented team member who shares our excitement for innovation and growth.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

You are detailed oriented and are capable of managing the nuance of each individual customer’s needs through coordination internally (with our team) and externally with vendors.
You are comfortable communicating with customers and are able to maintain a calm and friendly presence throughout each customer interaction.
You are an analytical and strategic thinker, prepared to use data and trends in order to help shape your decision making
You adapt to each situation quickly and are able to drive full ownership of your work. You jump in and you solve problems. You are able to troubleshoot quickly, but also know the right times to ask for help.
You look for opportunities to make things better and faster (without compromising on quality).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a customer facing member of our Customer Experience team, while working cross functionally with Operations and Merchandising to ensure an enjoyable customer journey
Represent our brand ethos and create process around delivering a better customer experience
Solve issues that arise when deliveries, transactions and experience don't go 100% as planned
Analyze data & trends to build better operational processes
Field inquiries (and ultimately sell) to consumers over the phone, email, and – importantly – in person in our showroom
Translate and track customer customization requests – working with our production team to field inquiries
Advocate our brand story
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
We want a go getter who is excited about growth.
You should have exceptional attention to detail and ability to translate details into actionable responses.
You should have superior written and oral communication skills
You should love interacting with customers (and teammates)
You should be self-directed and willing to learn new things, ask questions, and promote experiences
You should be proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
It would be great if you have prior experience with Magento and/or Salesforce
It would be great if you had knowledge about design and furniture
It would be great if you had experience with the customer service platform Zendesk
