HS2 is looking to hire an experienced Data Analyst to help with the Audience Management Team. This individual will report directly to the Director of Digital Media/Analytics and support a minimum of three direct clients. In this capacity, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting will be produced along with strategic recommendations and insights. There will additionally be the opportunity to work on such initiatives as: dashboard development, query writing and basic model development.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret data, analyst results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources
- Work with project management to prioritize business and information needs
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analyst if necessary
- Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in data management related subject matter
- Minimum 3 to 5 years practical experience in data analytics
- Strong collaboration and organization skills
- Extremely proficient in all facets of Excel
- Experience building databases and stored procedures
- Experience building and running SQL queries
- VBA knowledge a plus, but not a requirement
- Strong client service skills a plus
