What You’ll Do

As a Data Analytics Engineer you will work on collecting, storing, processing and building Business Intelligence and Analytics applications within our Big Data platform. The primary focus will be on building datasets that power web applications that provide insights across a variety of industries. You will also be responsible for integrating these applications with the architecture used across the company. 

Responsibilities:

• Prototype and deliver big data applications and data visualization tools
• Make advanced analytics available on a large scale
• Define and author ETL processes
• Work with Data Science team to improve and update machine learning algorithms of our platform
• Build and maintain tools to increase the productivity of application development and client facing teams

What You’ll Need

• Strong competency coding in Python and/or R
• Background in Mathematics, Data Science, or Statistics
• Experience using data visualization tools
• Knowledge of open source machine learning toolkits such as SparkML or H2O
• Experience with a variety of database technologies, SQL, etc.
• Familiarity with webservices, Cloud computing
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (competencies in data structures & algorithms)
