ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a data scientist at Shoprunner, you’ll be able to look at cross-market data and create predictive models that help push our business forward. Taking work from other parts of the business, the data science team seeks to push the limits of what we believe our data can do, driving us to find more effective ways to serve our merchants and the customers who wield our platform. A collaborator through and through, our data scientist will work to help define a data pipeline for both bach and real-time models.

ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

• Develop models and insight that help inform the ShopRunner value proposition with merchants and inform how we structure deals.
• Use our massive analytics data to develop models and insight about how customers interact with ShopRunner and our merchant network, and identify new segments that ShopRunner should focus on.
• Help get new products to production by assisting with product data architecture and modeling to ensure that  products can scale with usage across our merchant network.

ABOUT WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• 4+ years working in data science, working closely within a business to give data insights.
• Collaborative problem solver with previous experience building models from the ground up.
• Experienced communicator who can create enthusiasm around their insights and ideas so that ideas become proven production systems that generate business value.
• Hands-on self starter who can move data projects forward by acquiring and converting data into useful formats when necessary.
