Did you ever stand in front of a sea of bottles in the wine aisle and wonder “what to get”? Well the overwhelming majority of people, even avid wine drinkers, experience the same problem! Our aim is to disrupt the way people buy wine by making the selection process easier, more individualized and effective while simultaneously providing a platform for wine brands to tell their stories to these shoppers. Our first step in conquering the world is placing touchscreen wine kiosks in grocery store wine aisles. We also have recently expanded our reach into the craft beer space by licensing state-of-the art technology that analyzes, visualizes and recommends beer based on how a person rates other beers.
We are a digital tech startup providing software for the huge, growing and fun adult beverage industry. We have two commercially viable product, paying customers, and have a lot of room to grow. Currently we are in fundraising mode, so we don’t yet have the resources to hire employees. However, we hate waiting and have some big opportunities that require more product development, so we are hoping to find more than an employee – we are looking for a partner to be vested and grow with that can start on a part time basis.
Compensation: For the immediate future, compensation will be 100% in equity, the size of which will be dependent on the skills and the amount of tim the candidate can dedicate. Upon a sufficient funding round, we hope to bring on this person full time.
Position Stuff (projects that you might work on):
· Help build version 3.0 of our software
· Optimize backend for scalability
· Code solutions for making calls to SQL database
· Updates and adding features to our beer app (BeerMapper) including integrating API calls to various partner platforms
Technical Stuff (programming languages and platforms used):
We are looking for a developer who wants to help build cutting edge, scalable software. We are open to the possibility of taking on a junior developer or a senior developer depending on fit. What is most important is the person is motivated and able to work under the compensation structure for the time being. Programming languages and software we use:
