POSITION OVERVIEW
The Digital Director will lead and grow a team that provides superior digital solutions to the agency’s clients. They will provide creative, strategic and technical leadership to develop and implement digital campaigns as part of our client’s experiential and event marketing initiatives.

This individual will oversee the development of digital projects by facilitating the creation of websites, mobile applications, technology integration and new product development. They should have an intuitive feeling for the way digital interfaces should work and an understanding of what users want and need when it comes to digital engagement. This could include digital strategy and interaction design across any touch point— web, mobile, social and immersive technologies driving live experiences.

A successful candidate must have knowledge of all things digital, deep technical skills, significant team leadership experience and a work style that supports the collaborative culture of our agency.

This role will also be responsible for providing a strategic vision for new business responses, proposals, as well as participating in pitch presentations to represent the agency’s digital capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the digital, social and mobile strategy, planning and execution of clients and agency work
• Work closely with Creative Director and encourage seamless craft between graphic designers and developers
• Work with Digital Project Manager to increase efficiencies in creating complex event websites that fulfill client objectives
• Lead a cross-functional team of project managers, strategists, interface developers and QA testers
• Implement digital strategies and interactive technology into client projects
• Create digital processes and protocols
• Provide digital direction for new business opportunities
• Educate the agency of emerging digital trends, latest event technologies, tools, etc.
• Seek opportunities to drive revenue growth through digital capabilities
• Identify necessary software tools that will support the agency’s digital initiatives
• Participate in multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise across internal teams to share best practices, interdependencies, and alignment opportunities across the organization

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 – 12 years experience in the digital space, preferably within an agency setting
• In-depth knowledge of digital disciplines and how they apply to live experiences (includes; audience engagement, UX design, digital production and analytics)
• Up to date (a “student”) on tech trends
• Ability to be a hands-on team player adding value, creating strategies, programs and instructional guidance to all levels and teams
• Exceptional at building and presenting concepts/programs for clients and new business opportunities
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Ability to mobilize, supervise and motivate teams
