Admissionado is an admissions consulting company founded by two Brown University grads (one ended up going to Harvard Business School, the other to USC Film School). Admissionado sits at the unique intersection of these two synergistic disciplines and is one of the fastest growing consulting firms in its space. We’ve grown from a 2-man show in 2007, to a team of over 100 people with offices in the US and China.
And we’re just getting started... among other things, this translates to huge growth opportunities for the right person.

We are currently in the hunt for a Digital Marketing wunderkind. Someone who will be at the nexus of all our key content – that’s the part that companies often miss, “connecting the dots.” We want someone who gets our business, who can help curate content across all platforms (website, social media, marketing collateral, etc.) and track, analyze, and optimize all the data on an ongoing basis.

If you dream about Google Analytics, speak exclusively in hash tags (#winning!), and have the urge to A/B test every aspect of your life, we want to talk to (or marry) you (let’s A/B test it!). This gig requires serious self-management, strong interpersonal qualities, a thirst for challenges, and a legally-binding signature that acknowledges that the dress was white and gold, regardless of “the truth.”

 Responsibilities

  • Maintain website content (blog, resources); working with Admissionado CTO on SEO strategies and objectives
  • Develop detailed short and long-term strategies for newsletters, social media, etc., liaising with internal team members or outside vendors to align goals; and manage execution
  • Assist with (and one day take over) SEM/Adwords campaign
  • Reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs); periodically, in easy-to-understand high-level summaries, with actionable recommendations for ongoing improvements
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests for both paid and organic traffic
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Help strategize creative ways to repurpose and repackage deep reserves of content (that has untapped value)
  • Take an active interest in supporting other departments and soliciting help from other departments in order to meet and exceed corporate goals
  • Make the work environment… even more awesome

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree
  • A few years of work experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience with SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media, online marketing and measurement

Not Required, But a Plus

  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Design skills, and proficiency with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
