A Sales Planner, Digital is a crucial member of the Hoy Sales Team. This role is responsible for digital campaigns from the RFP stage through the end of its lifecycle.  Sales Planners will work closely with Sales Associates, Sales Managers, Marketing, Ad Operations, and other internal teams in order to provide clients with the most efficient and effective experience when partnering with Hoy.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build awareness of Hoy’s digital offerings and capabilities within the market.
  • Ensure optimal market coverage, increase awareness of services and capabilities, and assist sales team with research and outreach to new & existing advertisers
  • Work with sales to respond to all RFPs by creating media plans that meet client objectives
  • Coordinate the on-time delivery of client proposals
  • Assist with brainstorming of integrated ideas
  • Respond to requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, etc.  
  • Ensure that media plans include accurate pricing and utilize approved products and available inventory
  • Manage the creation, implementation, execution, and tracking of digital campaigns, and work with all levels of client and advertising agency decision makers and influencer.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments on all levels of campaign execution (Marketing, Ad Operations, Development, etc.)
  • Process and manage Insertion Orders utilizing industry reporting and tools
  • Work with team in brainstorming and implementing innovative and creative campaign executions
  • Keep up with digital advertising trends in the Hispanic & multicultural market

 

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree recommended
  • 1 year experience in advertising/marketing or equivalent
  • Digital experience preferred but not required
  • Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well within an individual and team environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional presentation skills - creation and delivery
  • Demonstrate self-direction and ability to work autonomously
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Organized, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Desire to learn different aspects of digital advertising
