POSITION SUMMARY
bswift is a Chicago-based technology company that provides industry-leading benefits administration for employers and exchanges nationwide. We are currently looking for Finance Director to join our team.
The Director is responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis and billing operations for bswift (a wholly owned subsidiary of Aetna). The role will touch all levels of the organization and demands both financial leadership and exemplary communication skills to aggressively drive business results.
Fundamental Components:
Oversight of Financial Planning and billing teams
Develop quarterly forecasts and annual plans; Build rapport and accountability with individual P&L/cost center owners to maximize effectiveness
Drive multi-year strategic planning process while interfacing with Aetna strategy teams
Develop processes and set infrastructure to measure, understand and monitor business unit results relative to action plans and milestones
Perform ad hoc business plan and ROI analyses as bswift considers new products and/or lines of business
Improve and standardize billing processes
Proactively identify, research and develop solutions to improve business results or processes
Be creative problem solver within fast growing environment and have ability to adapt to change
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
10+ years of finance management experience including strategic and business planning, accounting and financial analysis.
Experience with driving and reporting P&L results, cross functional teams and large scale initiatives
MBA or CPA preferred, but not required
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
