Overview

Snapsheet is a mobile enterprise startup that is disrupting the outdated auto insurance claims process and turning a $120B market on its head. We have locked up contracts with top insurance carriers and are entering hyper-growth mode. We are building an elite team and looking for a Director of Account Management.

In addition to experience, you must have passion, writing skills, street smarts, analytical and quantitative skills, creativity, persistence and impressive interpersonal skills. Must be calm and personable under pressure with strong negotiation skills. Seeking someone who can perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.

Who Are You?

The Director of Account Management is responsible for managing the account management team which includes detailed reporting and holding the team accountable for growth targets. This role will also work closely with the VP of Accounts to develop detailed account strategies to increase sales penetration within existing accounts. The ideal candidate should have the ability to navigate complex organizations and senior levels and translate customer feedback into actionable product roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage a team of Account Managers focused on expanding existing client revenues
  • Provide sales mentorship and elevate the team’s abilities to manage and close business!
  • Accurately forecast recurring volume pipelines
  • Constantly innovate ways to balance sales opportunities, client management and new customer onboarding responsibilities
  • Devise tactics and strategies to maintain close relationships with Snapsheet clients at scale
  • Focus on client success
  • Work to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will serve as the foundation for this growing team
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with the product and marketing teams
  • Be proactive about solving problems even if it’s outside of your area
  • Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives
  • Effectively execute Snapsheet strategy
  • Execute against the strategy leveraging key Snapsheet stakeholders
  • Inspire, develop, coach and mentor the team to help with the transformation of their careers.
  • Develop client relationships to ensure we deeply understand their business objectives and deliver relevant solutions which drive meaningful value and results.
  • Clearly prioritize workloads for both Account Operations and Account Management to deliver exceptional service to clients and Snapsheet business units.
  • Provide input to VP of Account Management on technology roadmap items based on a deep understanding of client and market needs.
  • Effectively forecast account penetration on a weekly and quarterly basis.
  • Partnering with the Account Manager, be the public face of Snapsheet
  • Be an active member of the Snapsheet leadership team to ensure we continue to build a brilliant workplace for our employees that embodies Snapsheet’s culture & values.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required, MBA a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in account management or sales
  • Including the ability to influence, develop and empower colleagues and team members to achieve shared objectives with a collaborative approach
  • Proven track record of overachievement against ambitious revenue and growth goals.
  • Knowledge of software and services ecosystem.
  • Deep experience building & maintaining C-Level client relationships.
  • Presentation skills at Executive Level
