UrbanBound is hiring a Director of Finance (Controller) to help take us into 2016 and beyond.  We’re looking for an addition to our leadership team who will help drive our financial and accounting engine with precision, accuracy and strategic insights.  The successful candidate for the Director of Finance role will be a decisive, intelligent, and results-oriented individual with SaaS business experience who knows how to be a strategic partner to the CEO.

Responsibilities     

• Establish the foundation for the Company’s Finance function and team 
• Manage and develop systems and processes for producing and tracking timely, accurate financial statements and operating metrics
• Build revenue and expense models that allow Company leadership to create and drive our emerging budgeting processes
• Accurately track and forecast the relationship between cash flow and revenue
• Coordinate with other departments on strategic planning ranging from pricing to sales forecasting to expense management
• Develop, maintain, and document internal controls
• Develop, maintain, and document a robust system for the tracking and reconciliation of client funds
• Strongly contribute to the creation of reports and materials for the Company leadership team and Board of Directors
• Responsible for the annual financial statement audit
• Participate in establishing and maintaining relationships with financial institutions 

Required Skills

• Demonstrated 10+ years of experience in accounting/finance management roles, preferably within a software/SaaS business
• Ability to thrive in an informal, low-hierarchy culture where decisions are made quickly in a hands-on, down to earth, roll-up-your-sleeves environment
• Undergraduate accounting or finance degree required. MBA and/or CPA preferred
