We’re looking for a Director of Growth and Marketing to join us in our quest to make money transfer simple, fair and safe. We need a self-motivated, empathetic, analytical and results-oriented person to lead the company’s integrated marketing efforts, including PR, social, in-store, Out-Of-Home, print, TV, radio, digital paid media and alternative mobile channels.

 

You’ll be a successful candidate if you have a comprehensive Marketing background with experience in managing the planning, execution and reporting of integrated campaigns. Startup experience is a plus! You’re innovative and proactive. You love complex Marketing challenges. You think customers are at the heart of every Marketing initiative. You are passionate about transforming lives. You’re ambitious when it comes to establishing growth objectives.

  

In this hugely dynamic role, no two days will be the same and you’ll instantly make an impact within the team and organization!

  

What you’ll do here:

·       Create brand fanatics. As a result of your team’s awareness and engagement efforts, new customers will use Pangea, influencers will recommend Pangea and multiple communities will love Pangea.

·       Ensure Marketing “smart spending” and maximize ROI. That means you’ll acquire more profitable users at the lowest possible CAC. You’ll own and guard the department’s P&L and constantly report performance metrics with the support of the analytics team.

·       Lead global expansion plans. You’ll get to know our different customers better than anyone and use that knowledge to plan multiple global and geo-specific integrated Marketing campaigns (including KPI goals, budgeting and behavioral projections).

·       Foster customer retention. Once you understand every critical brand touch point and purchase driver for every segment, you’ll create multiple communications flows to maximize conversion and retention rates.

·       Tell the Pangea story. We have great stories when it comes to making a difference in our customers’ lives. You’ll help us spread the word through content management, brand influencers, PR and other social strategies.

·       Manage, manage and manage. Every successful Marketing campaign requires collaboration between inter-disciplinary team members, agencies and partners. You’ll be the champion that will assign responsibilities and establish procedures to track progress.

 

Our checklist:

 ·       You have a Bachelor’s degree (with a strong preference for Advertising, Communications, or Business Major). A Master’s degree is a plus!

·       You have 5 to 10 years of experience in a challenging marketing role at an agency and/or on the client side. You have a proven track record of successfully launching new products and shaping businesses grow.

·       You lead by example and have great stories about managing teams, vendors and partners.

·       You’re comfortable with multiple frameworks to plan, execute and track Marketing performance. You’re very strategic but also love rolling up your sleeves.

·       You have managed budgets across multiple channels, territories and customer segments.

·       You’re familiar with the process of media buying for efforts such as TV, radio, Out-Of-Home, among others.

·       You like keeping up with the new trends in the digital marketing world, including PPC, display, retargeting, SEO and mobile affiliate technologies.

·       You’re eager to become organization savvy. You’ll have to keep track of a lot of different projects, without letting anything slip through the cracks. You are proactive, organized and very entrepreneurial!

·       A sense of humor is a must. We want to keep a fun and enthusiastic work environment with a premium placed on working hard and enjoying the ride.
