What You'll Do:

In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for managing our partnerships in Manufacturing and developing new project opportunities to this sector. You will focus on delivering excellence for our manufacturing partners. Your contributions will be focussed around commercial growth whilst leading technical delivery to ensure best in class service. You will also be a strong people manager who is passionate about developing team members and helping them grow to their next level. 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: 

Preferred Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Defining and driving the manufacturing segment strategy and execution
  • Creating and inspiring a shared vision of success
  • Managing top worldwide partnerships and projects
  • Developing the strategic plan and helping refine our approach to the industry
  • Developing market specific product portfolio with Product Management
  • Providing accurate forecasting and budgeting information for sales segment
  • Providing specific/actionable guidance to local sales teams
  • Leveraging our suite of Commercial Excellence tools to communicate progress and success across the organization
  • Manage and grow our key partners in the manufacturing and support communications across teams
  • Well connected in the industry, with the ability to leverage those relationships to develop new business opportunities and deliver excellence for our clients
  • Strong business acumen – able to understand business risk and challenges, and recognize corporate opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in product software development

Required Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related science preferred. MBA also preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and manufacturing applications, as an OEM, Solutions or IT lead
  • Acute understanding of IoT and the opportunity to create value with data and analytics
  • Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, ideally in both a consultancy and client capacity
  • Driven to develop professionally, and to grow a manufacturing business
  • Strong track record in project management and leadership

Location

We are located in River North just right off the Chicago Brown Line stop. We also provide you with a free shuttle service to/from Ogilvie and Union.
