Director of Sales
Spun out of Discovery Communications, Curiosity is based in Chicago is quickly becoming the next great media company. We are adding to our sales team. This is truly a great opportunity to join at an early stage of respected media brand.
As Sales Director, you will be a leader on our sales team. This role will be responsible for establishing relationships and educating brand and agency partners about Curiosity. You will will be bringing brand partnerships to life on Curiosity while being instrumental in driving revenue for the business.
Specifically, this will involve:
- Identifying and engaging brands while working to understand their brand marketing goals.
- Strategize with the brand partner to conceptualize their opportunity on Curiosity platform and highlight the opportunity for storytelling.
- Create inherent value for clients, sell through the opportunities, and drive revenue for Curiosity.
- Collaborate with the Curiosity team to concept ideas that integrate brands into Curiosity’s platform
- Work with Curiosity editorial and product teams to ensure client success
- Forge and maintain relationships with Curiosity partners. Establish long term partnerships.
- Strategize with Curiosity leadership on evolving our offering and position in the market.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years working in Sales or Account Management
- Confidence presenting and leading meetings
- Proven Track Record of building relationships
- Detail Oriented, Hard working, Passionate
- Naturally curious
