The new Director of Sales will be responsible for driving sales in the in the Chicago and Midwest markets by building awareness and client relationships in those markets and delivering sales target goals.  This executive will be responsible for revenue within their territory.

 

Ideal candidate will have prior success in the following areas:

  • Strong track record of individual sales success in Chicago and the Midwest markets.
  • Strong consultative selling approach and experience with the ability to identifying customer needs and shape the sale around them.
  • Proven experience in media, digital or programmatic and RTB space.
  • Excellent relationships with media buying agencies in the Chicago and region.
  • Experience with salesforce.com forecasting and budgeting, pipeline management and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, “get-stuff-done” culture that is experiencing a high rate of growth.
  • Drive awareness of Digilant advertising within the agency and advertising community.
  • and services by providing informed opinions on internal sales strategies and channel partner feedback.

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience in high-growth media business.
  • Success as a hands on individual contributor in Chicago and the region.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels with target agencies by means of generating meetings and entertaining clients.
  • MBA is a plus.
