This is where you come in.  We are looking for a Director of Sales - IoT Connectivity to build and lead a team of sales professionals to educate potential customers on the benefits of leveraging our IoT / M2M connectivity solutions.  As the Director, you will have direct access to some of the most brilliant minds in the industry, and the opportunity to not only advise, but build an exceptional inside / telesales team – in an environment that values innovation, autonomy and integrity. Responsibilities:

As the Director of Inside / Telesales, IoT Connectivity you will take ownership of the group’s strategy, methods, and goals to ensure the teams success.  You will work closely with our executives to ensure proper attention and resources are invested to enable success.  Your team will drive revenue from online sales, inside sales and a small team of direct sales representatives and account managers in a call center environment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Manage all aspects of our connectivity sales strategy to exceed targets and grow the business
    • Create and deploy customer /product penetration strategies
    • Develop and implement repeatable, predictable inside sales processes
    • Interpret and communicate customer requirements to generate opportunities and close new connectivity agreements
    • Work hand in hand with the Marketing team to drive online connectivity sales revenue
  • Coach sales representatives in sales skills, product knowledge, channel knowledge, features/benefits etc.
  • Manage metrics including overall pipeline, individual performance, achievement of quota, etc.
  • Create and distribute weekly sales analysis including management reports and briefings
  • Support performance tracking, reward calculation, reporting and analysis, and dispute resolution
  • Manage and grow existing accounts
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the features and business applications of the company’s product line

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of sales experience, primarily in a call center / telesales environment
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a sales team in a telecommunications environment
  • Passionate about developing people and managing and motivating teams to meet or exceed goals
  • Experience in creating and managing an aggressive, motivated sales force
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
  • Proven ability to collect and analyze call data and recommend solutions based on identified trends
  • Results-driven with experience influencing people across functions and managing teams within large and small organizations
  • Passionate about using technology to demonstrate and promote programs (must be proficient using Microsoft Office applications and CRM solutions).
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; self-motivated and capable of motivating others; ability to deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to succeed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
