Director of Sales Support and Operations
Narrative Science is looking for a Director of Sales Support and Operations in our Chicago office. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing initiatives that will optimize sales and marketing productivity and revenue. You have a passion for sales, are data driven and never settle for complacency.
As our Sales Support and Operations Leader, you have previous experience working with enterprise sales teams. You are detail oriented, motivated and want to make an impact at an organization. You’ll do so by finding inefficiencies in our current processes and methods.
Responsibilities:
Own, analyze, and report on sales and marketing productivity metrics
Manage sales teams, as assigned
Implement data-driven initiatives to improve sales productivity metrics
Produce sales forecasting, reporting and recommendations for executive review
Identify sales performance KPI's in coordination with sales leaders and update as appropriate
Develop, recommend and collaborate with account executives regarding sales strategies and initiatives
Support Narrative Science’s sales and marketing initiatives
Work directly with cross functional teams to improve KPIs
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in a sales operations role
Previous experience in a sales function
Proven experience managing a small team
Exceptional business acumen with the ability to effectively problem solve
A proven track record for delivering results and impacting an organization
Ability to work cross-functionally and interact regularly with all members of the organization
Technology experience in Salesforce management, BI platforms and proficiency with MS Office Suite
Desire to be part of a team that is building and selling a groundbreaking technology
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Bachelor’s degree is required
Prior experience working for a fast growing startup environment is a plus
