DialogTech (formerly Ifbyphone) is the market leader in call analytics and optimization, providing data-driven marketers with an end-to-end call attribution and conversion platform. This give marketers the transparency and control over every conversation, so companies can optimize lead generation, map the full path to conversion, and increase customer loyalty.

Thanks to smartphones, consumers are calling businesses to engage in conversation at record rates throughout every stage of the customer journey, and at DialogTech we are changing the world of voice communication for our customers.  We enable our customers to better attribute, route, personalize, and manage their voice interactions at each part of the marketing and sales processes.

We are looking for a Director/Senior Director of Partnerships to support our overall product and corporate strategy.  In this role, you will be directly responsible for forming and maintaining our partnership strategy and execution.  To date, we’ve partnered with companies like Adobe, Salesforce, Google, Genesys, Microsoft, Optimizely, Acquisio, Kenshoo, and many more.  You will help lead cross functional groups including marketing team members, product management team members, sales team members, and engineering team members to work quickly towards joint technology and commercial offerings.

Successful candidates in this role will have the following qualities:

  • Very high EQ (Emotional Quotient) - When you talk to others you are able to actively listen, hear their concerns (both spoken and unspoken) and understand how to react to engage them;

  • Exemplary presentation skills - This position requires frequently speaking to groups of individuals, both internally and externally to evangelize DialogTech’s mission of helping marketers consume and act on their phone calls;

  • Strong knowledge of technology development - In building technology partnerships you will often be asked to think about concepts of how the web works (especially in the marketing technology stack) and how data flows/should flow.  To be successful in this role you’ll have to understand what these terms mean and how they interplay with building new technology solutions;

  • Attention to detail and a desire to execute - We run a pretty lean environment in that everyone does a bit of everything.  Sometimes you’ll be in major strategic discussions, sometimes you’ll be building a powerpoint deck for someone else to present.  It all depends.  Above all else, though, you want to get sh*t done;

  • Strategic, creative thinking - Some might think this runs counter to a desire to execute, but you understand that no matter how big or small our headcount, no matter what the size of our budget, we will always be resource constrained.  There will always be more ideas than time to build them.  You spend your time thinking about which ideas would be the most impactful for the organization, not just those we can get done today.  You are able to weigh priorities and make difficult tradeoffs based on projected impact; and

  • A love of travel - often this job requires getting on a plane to go meet a few partners at a time.  There’s no set amount of travel here, but it’s somewhere around 40%+, though if you’re a road warrior that can happen as well.  We’re open, but we do want you to know that there will be some travel.

Ideally, you’ve been there and done this before - you’ve formed partnerships and executed on them.  You’ve worked on major deals before.  You understand the martech and adtech spaces.  You’ve built technology before.  You understand what growth and change feels like and you embrace them rather than run from them.  If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk.
