What We Do:

Uptake harnesses the power of underutilized data to empower businesses to make informed decisions. We partner with industry leaders to build a predictive analytics product that grows smarter in one industry because of what we learn in another. We are achieving something that has not yet been done: to create and produce software that will make our world more predictable, safe and reliable.

Why Diversity & Inclusion matters to us:

To achieve our vision, Uptake is committed to attracting and developing teams of diverse individuals that are curious, flexible and committed to learning, growing and achieving extraordinary results together. We will foster partnerships in a variety of communities in which we serve to help develop the next generation of technologists, scientists and leaders for our digital world.

We are charting our own course and there is no previously created roadmap. Uptake is different. We thrive on uniqueness in diverse ideas, experiences, upbringings and perspectives. This is what creates innovation, productivity, quality, customer intimacy and a sense of creating something amazing together.

Our Diversity and Inclusion Leader will partner with the SVP of People and other leaders in the organization to create, launch and enhance programs that foster diversity and inclusion within the company. This Leader will be accountable for integrating D&I strategies into our people programs, processes and culture. • Effectively craft and communicate a compelling narrative of D&I at Uptake that can be shared both internally and externally.

  • Identify key performance indicators and analysis of Diversity and Inclusion data. Communicate these results to leaders in the company and suggestion action plans around this data.
  • Regularly measure and analyze diversity and inclusion progress (Engagement survey, demographic data, focus groups, etc.), highlighting areas of strength and areas of weakness, and identify action steps to improve areas of opportunity.
  • Report data to senior leaders to drive decisions and action.
  • Collaborate and influence the creation of policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce for Uptake.
  • Partner with Uptake University leaders to develop online and in-class learning, focused on topics such as unconscious bias, managing courageously, leading inclusively, etc.
  • Advise recruiting practices and pipeline development to ensure we are tapping into an array of talent pools.

Qualifications

  • Communication. Verbal and written. Must be able to influence and share perspective with all levels of the organization.
  • Consultation. Partners with leaders to drive programming that supports inclusion.
  • Global & Cultural Awareness. Be open; a model of inclusion.
  • Leadership & Navigation. Articulate your vision and make a case for diversity, always.
  • Relationship Management. Understand our dynamic environment and embrace it. Move quickly and partner with others, always.
