Editorial Assistant
Primary: Assist in the creation and distribution of all content at Curiosity. Secondary: Make significant contributions to the team by creating content in all forms.

The Editorial Assistant should contribute ideas, write and edit when not supporting the content team. The EA will need to handle the managerial aspects of the role to permit time for writing, editing (text and video) as well as strategy.

Primary responsibilities:
Assist editors in the scheduling of all content to social platforms and our content management system.
Assist editors in the promotion and tracking of all posts to social platforms.
Track daily copy flow as needed from editors: source content, images, copy, references, interviews as needed.
Assist editors in managing social media partnerships with other large Facebook pages.
Lead A/B testing efforts of social content (writing & photography) to improve the quality of our social posts across all channels.
Secondary responsibilities to grow over time:
Write and edit content for our 2.3M fan Facebook page as needed.
Write and edit content for our 250k fan Instagram page as needed.
Write and edit content for our 35k fan Twitter account as needed.
Write (with author attribution) content for our website, apps and blog.
Write scripts and video production for social as well as in-app videos.
Contribute ideas and writing to brand campaign pitches for large client proposals as well as sold campaigns.
