Enterprise Account Executive

About the role
We are currently seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join the FourKites team. Your primary function is to engage Enterprise accounts, quarterbacking deals from start to finish that have been identified by our inside sales team.

Responsibilities
- Take control of active sales cycles while building new business pipeline through prospecting and relationship building with top tier Shippers and 3PLs.
- Build ongoing relationships with key influencers and executives through warm leads generated by the sales development team in addition to self-generated leads acquired through prospecting.
- Manage and direct the sales strategy and build account plans that create a winning solution for both the customer and FourKites.
- Effectively leverage internal resources (Senior Executives, Inside Sales, Customer Success, Operations, etc.) in sales efforts.
- Sell across multiple Lines of Business simultaneously (IT, Procurement, Transportation, Supply Chain/Logistics).
- Consistently seek new business opportunities by presenting, recommending, and upselling new FourKites products and services.
- Deliver outstanding presentations and be able to master the demonstration of our platform.
- Arrange, manage, and close complex sales cycles.
- Be a driving force in the success of the company’s goals & objectives through achieving & exceeding individual sales quota.
- Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through proper use of sales tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Ability to identify customers, evaluate interest, recognize decision making processes, handle objections, and close deals
- Build relationships with C-suite level executives and understand high level executive decision making
Requirements
- At least 10+ years of technology-based enterprise sales experience; SaaS experience preferred, knowledge of the transportation logistics space is a plus.
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
- Self-starter with a “Hunter” mentality
- Experience selling into commercial and enterprise-sized companies
- Track record of carrying an annual quota of $1.5M+
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a cadence of delivering consistent results
- Previous sales methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references
