We have an opening in our Chicago-based world headquarters for a Finance Intern. This internship is to assist the Finance/Accounting Department with completing monthly tasks and ad hoc projects as needed. The right person would have some familiarity with accounting, major in finance or accounting required, and has knowledge of Excel, preferably at least some exposure to pivot tables, although this can be taught.

Some of the tasks that the intern would do are as follows:

• Assisting with billing procedures throughout the month
• Month end reconciliation work, primarily with intercompany accounts
• Month end update of master AR file, to be sent to our Executive Director each month
• Monthly revenue estimate to be sent to our revenue team
• Other tasks or report updates as needed

The intern would be able to see many different areas of the close process, as well as the intricacies that are involved in international business transactions. The hours are flexible and can be designed around the intern's school schedule.
