Responsibilities
- Provide analytical and financial support to functional departments including product management, marketing, operations, corporate development, and corporate service functions
- Oversee the development and preparation of periodic business unit and corporate forecasts and management reports, and draw insights used to drive executive decision making in conjunction with P&L and company leaders
- Develop and share deep market insights and high-impact analyses about relevant industry trends, new product opportunities, and potential market expansions to provide strategic and analytical support to prioritize key investments and opportunities.
- Author and deliver impactful presentations, distilling complex ideas and opportunities into actionable insights
- Define success metrics for key initiatives, develop business cases for new products and services and crystallize key insights on business performance when initiatives are launched
- Manage, mentor and lead staff members of your Finance team
You’re right for this job if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required from a top undergraduate program, or related experience
- Demonstrated history of academic excellence with a minimum 3.2 GPA
- 4 to 8 years in a company finance, consulting, ‘Big Four’, investment banking role, or graduate of finance rotational program
- Motivation to be a self-starter, with advanced problem solving and issue resolution skills
- Embraces ownership and accountability of assignments, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and competing priorities, with attention to detail and ability to follow projects through to completion. Flexibility and poise to pivot when organizational priorities change.
- Ability to influence and communicate successfully at all levels of the organization, synthesizing insights and conclusions into organized and impactful communications to senior management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications
- Certification or progress toward CPA, CFA or MBA a plus, but not required
- Exposure the lending industry a plus
- SQL experience a plus
