WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Disrupt the financial advice industry by building the next generation of financial advice and investment management solutions
  • Learn from experienced quantitative researcher and expert software developers through pair coding and hone your skills across a cutting-edge financial economics and retirement finance
  • Build well-tested, efficient and reusable quantitative analytic models and scalable software
  • Make an immediate impact by contributing to research and building new analytic features from start to finish
REQUIREMENTS

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have strong knowledge of linear algebra, statistics, financial mathematics, computational finance, especially Portfolio Optimization is required
  • You have real world experience with some of the following: portfolio optimization, investment management, style analysis, manager due diligence, retirement planning, annuity and other guaranteed income products, and ERISA and IRS regulations
  • You have advanced Matlab skills, or equivalent experience with R or Python
  • You have a Masters or PhD degree in Financial Engineering, Analytic Finance, Quantitative Finance, or Financial Mathematics, or other graduate degree in a quantitative discipline with equivalent field experience
  • You’re a strong candidate if you are on track for CFA or SOA certification
  • You have 1+ year of industry experience in the financial industry working with investment fund manager evaluation, selection, and building optimal investment portfolios to track or outperform model asset class portfolio benchmarks. Experience in the DC industry is a big plus
