(Freelance) Senior Graphic Designer

Summary and Scope
As a leading, digital marketing agency, user experience and sound design principles are at the heart of all Rise Interactive’s visual identity. In this role you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders in order to create work that is inspired, fresh, and refined. You will take the lead on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible designs utilizing creative thinking.
The Senior Graphic Designer supports the company’s strategic marketing initiatives by focusing on the efficient, accurate, and timely completion of activities by scoping and defining projects appropriately. As a versatile member of the Corporate Marketing team, you will be tasked with maintaining the integrity of the Rise Interactive brand, while working and collaborating with outside vendors and meeting internal stakeholder’s expectations and objectives.

Responsibilities
- Supports Company’s profitability efforts by focusing on the efficient, accurate and timely completion of the assigned creative design activities
• Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of basic to intermediate level client design deliverables within budget, meeting client expectations, objectives, and creative brief specifications
• Participates in creative brief processes or planning meetings with clients and/or internal teams for assignments as needed
• Act as a jack of all trades with photography, video, audio, editing, copywriting and other duties as needed
• Contribute to the development of business processes
• Work and collaborate with outside vendors
• Meets quality standards at all times for all assigned deliverables and makes recommendations to Management for improvements in creative design concepts, tools, processes and/or assigned tasks
• Support the team with user research and usability testing
• Contributes to client presentations by working with internal creative team to develop creative working documents and finalize design layout pieces using internal and external resources
• Developing the ability to take a job from conception to completion
• Ensures designs are within the specifications and concepts determined by the Sr. Designer or Creative Manager
Required Skills
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite applications
- A trained design eye with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain brand standards
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines, accept direction, embrace change while maintaining an open mind, positive attitude, and is flexible and adaptable in the face of ambiguity
- Ability to clearly articulate your design recommendations through written, verbal and visual communication
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with differing levels of organizational management
- Ability to identify areas of improvements in creative design concepts, tools, processes and/or assigned tasks
- Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking, acute attention to detail and self-discipline to review your own work
- A minimum of 5 years experience as an in-house designer, in an agency setting, or similar fast-paced, demanding environment with moderate supervision
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design preferred or equivalent creative art background with design capabilities
