Symbiont Group is looking for a freelance Web Designer to support our creative team. Working with our Creative Director and UX specialist, you’ll be responsible for creating pixel perfect desktop, tablet and mobile mock ups for a website redesign.

 We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for brand consistency and detail, who can work at a fast pace and is always ready to learn.

 We expect that you’re self-motivated, highly organized, and excited to deliver high quality work on time, every time.

 Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Creative Director and project leads, our freelance Web 

Designer will:

• Create pixel-perfect responsive mock ups, based on wireframes and inputs from the UX Specialist.
  
• Prep all files and assets for development
  
• Present your work to our internal team
  
• Available for 30+ hours/week for a 5 week period beginning mid-July
• Chicago-based freelancers only

 Skills & Experience

•  Diverse portfolio of website design work
  
• Strong understanding of responsive design
  
• Solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  
• Strong Communication skills –  clearly articulated progress updates, and some insight into your process/decisions made when working on a project
  
• Team Player – ability to take direction, offer feedback and work collaboratively
