What you'll do
As a Front End Developer on the marketing team, you’ll play a critical role in delivering amazing user experiences to prospective customers, industry influencers and the general public worldwide. You'll use your superb dev skills to help us explain the complex world of predictive analytics through a wide range of creative web-based marketing platforms. You'll collaborate with our in-house marketing strategists and designers to recommend and implement changes to our website, Uptake.com, and to execute other web-based ideas that have a direct and measurable impact on Uptake's business.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Marketing team strategists and designers to bring web-based ideas to life. This includes enhancing our customer-facing website, creating micro-sites for customers and events, and developing a wide range of other creative, unique and interactive web-based experiences for prospective customers.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create and enhancing website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Utilize our CMS tool to maintain and push updates to our site
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Curiosity and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proven working experience in web programming
- Deep knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Deep knowledge of the foundations of JavaScript
- In-depth knowledge of browser technologies
- Familiarity with PHP, ASP.NET, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience developing customer-facing commercial websites
- Experience in User Interface (UI) design
Preferred skills:
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
- Experience using a CMS tool to update copy on a marketing-focused website
- Familiarity with integrating marketing automation tools and other marketing technology
- Experience building and testing landing pages
