Engineering Team Culture:

We are hiring Front End Developers to join our Commerce Team. The focus is to build the future of commerce. We simply look to hire smart people. No emphasis on a CS degree, or deep understanding of our tech stack, but instead folks who are passionate about their craft and excited to join a collaborative environment building the future of commerce. We are a largely remote team and have built a strong set of principles around our communication and workflow to support this.

Types of projects we work on:

Contextual commerce. With one seamless Braintree integration, you’ll pave a simple path for retailers to sell, and users to buy what they see - when they see it - on your platform. Think: dropping a buy button into an email or online article to reduce friction and cart abandonment. Embed a store with our simple SDK to bring the complete shopping experience right into your existing app.

We complement these features with control panels and web clients to provide our merchants easy access to their consumer offerings and ability to manage workflows in a user friendly fashion.

What we look for in you:

Proficiency within your current tech stack and desire to continue learning. We build with JavaScript and utilize ReactJS + Vue.js. We’re most interested in your ability to write vanilla JavaScript vs specific JS frameworks.

Work in a highly collaborative environment. Our team is spread out across the country with people working in our Chicago and San Francisco offices, as well as remotely. You should be open to various channels of communication and enjoy the workflow of that team dynamic.

You’re excited about the work we’re doing. Contextual commerce is a new concept in the space, and we’re hoping you are passionate about helping build new consumer experiences.
