As an Engineer, you will face some of the most difficult challenges in modern software engineering. LearnCore’s engineering team builds, scales and maintains the software services, including our web app, and third party native apps in iOS, Android, Salesforce.com and others. You will have the opportunity to create the standard measurement units of corporate knowledge and skill. Your work is our #1 lever for business success.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Front­-end defects and bugs 
• Building out and maintaining all front­-end markup, css, and JavaScript 
• Implementing and maintaining a code pattern library 
• Management of front­-end related tasks using Asana 
• Participation in evaluating/planning new feature requests 
• Ownership of cross ­browser compatibility for all new/existing features

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Expertise with HTML/HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Expertise with JavaScript related languages (CoffeeScript) and frameworks (BackboneJS) 
• Familiarity with Front-End frameworks (Bootstrap 3) 
• Deep understanding and experience with Linux systems
• Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation).
• 5+ years front-end software development experience 
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
